Both of our  65mm pilot bit and  80mm pilot bit has proved successful in low torque drilling applications in coal when performing cross measure drilling within seam. This combination of hole size and drilling technique allows the bit to deflect off the roof and the floor to stay in-seam.

We also offer our Drilltec range of shoe and core bits for cutting softer formations where stability or machine torque is reduced.
